Ente Ummante Peru (2018) Story

Hamid's sole relative is his father, Haider, who refuses to divulge any information about Hamid's mother. Despite this, Hamid has formed close relationships with his father's friend, Hamzakoya, and his own friend, Beeran.

At a marriage party with Beeran, Hamid receives the tragic news that his father has passed away. Overwhelmed with grief, Hamid feels as though he now has no family, despite assurances from Beeran and Hamzakkoya that they will support him. To ease his loneliness, the two advise him to find a wife.

Hamid meets Sainaba and they immediately hit it off, but Sainaba's father disapproves of their relationship due to Hamid being an orphan. This only adds to Hamid's sadness as he continues to run his antique shop with Beeran.

One day, while clearing out his house, Hamid discovers his father's will which reveals that Haider had two wives, one in Kozhikode and another in Ponnani. The will stipulates that Haider's land should be divided into three parts, with two going to his wives and one to charity. Hamid sells the land and sets off on a journey to meet the two widows, hoping to find his mother.

In Kozhikode, Hamid and Beeran meet Shivan, a former employee of his father. Despite his efforts, Shivan is unable to provide any information about Hamid's mother. At Ramlath's house, the first widow, they are rudely turned away by her husband when Hamid reveals his identity. The following day, they catch Ramlath's husband with another woman and demand to meet Ramlathumma. After handing over her share of the land, Hamid confirms that she is not his mother and sets his sights on Aishumma in Ponnani.
