The film is based on the true story of a 9 - hour protest in Kerala on October 4, 1996, in which a Pallakard Government Agent held another Reddy Reddy hostage to win Adivasi rights. The story begins with a scene where five people in different places are preparing to do some other big act that will cause a revolution. This group arrives at their destination, Palakkad Government Agent's Office, and waits for the Government Agent to arrive.
